Give Dad a Top Shelf Celebration

Set up an old-fashioned bar to celebrate Dad this Father’s Day!

You’ll need:

  • bourbon and whiskey

  • simple syrup (you can even grab a set to experiment with different flavors!)

  • bitters

  • orange peels or dried orange slices

  • other fun garnishes such as candied pecans

  • bacon to as the cocktail stirrers (because what dad doesn’t love bacon?!)

  • a few items to decorate (I used crates, newspaper/sheet music, greenery and a letter board—but get creative with it and make it yours!)

OTHER ITEMS TO INCLUDE: You can add a big meat-filled charcuterie board and some kettle-cooked chips and pretzels to snack on. Add a keepsake element by printing with our boozy bar tags! SHOP HERE

SET IT UP: I recommend setting this up on a credenza or by pushing a table against a wall so you can set up a simple backdrop (I lightly taped vintage newspaper and sheet music). This would be so cute on a bar cart as well! Use dishes you already have to add your items to—the more eclectic the better for this old-fashioned bar! Set up all of your drink ingredients on a tray. If you have crates or items that you can use to prop up certain elements, you’ll be able to bring some dimension to your setup. Lastly either print a sign and frame or use something simple like a letter board or chalkboard to write a cute note to dad.

Happy Father’s Day!
